Ankit was born in India and comes from an ordinary middle-class background. He happily grew up in a middle-class way, and always admired all that he had got. But what never struck a chord with him was middle-class limits to his self-development and dreams. Whether in school, college, university, business or job, he continued with his self-development journey through reading, researching, self-reflection, questioning questionable ways of life and observing people and events happening around.
His migration to Australia gave him huge opportunity to live in a different culture and society and know the commonalities and differences in ways people live and think.
Finally, after having lived in India and Australia and having worked in 6 industries for more than 15 years, Ankit has come to realise that human behaviour is greatly influenced by emotions and insecurities. Surprisingly, most people are not aware or are not paying much attention to this. What holds humans back from excelling is the lack of understanding of their own selves. By merely improving understanding of the driving forces behind our actions and behaviour, we can excel, both personally and professionally.
In 2022, driven by his deep desire to help people around understand the importance of self-development and partner with them in their self-development journey, he embarked the new journey. He completed a certification in coaching and curated high-quality and thought-provoking content and workshops and established a training company called Growth Horizons. He is now helping individuals, teams and businesses to transform through realising their full potential.
